Welcome! I have been trying to stay up to date on the latest technologies and how to use them in the classroom. I have found a few different Blogs and webpages that have assisted me in my journey. I have also discovered some just plain great educational Blogs. Below you will find links to the Blogs and webpages I have been scoping out. Please feel free to check out the Blogs/sites and let me know your opinion!

iLearn Technology

This website appears to have many unknown authors. iLearn Technology is "an edublog about integrating technology into the classroom". It would be a great link to share with co-workers or parents. However, it has a ton of information and the presentation is overwhelming.
Rating: 3

Lisa says: I visited this site and found it to contain a wealth of information. I sent it as a link to my class parents as some have been asking me about websites, and I liked the way this one was organised in terms of Bloom's taxonomy. However, I found the site itself a little difficult to navigate, partly because I could not link properly to the posts (which looked interesting). The zipper effect at the top of the page interfered with reading and would not scoll down, at least on my computer. 4

Integrating Technology in the Classroom

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Blog. Jill Malpass created this Blog to help teachers learn about Web2.0 apps that can be used with students. It is amazing. It provides a picture of each app and a small summary of what they do along with a ton of other information.
Rating: 5!!

A Crucial Week in the Life of NQI

This educational Blog has an unknown author. However it is a great place to free FREE educational resources. There are links on the right side of the Blog, listed by area/content, that will take you to FREE resources for that specific area/content.
Rating: It is a website geared toward elementary. If that is what you are looking for then it is great. Otherwise, overall, 4.
Lisa: Stacy, this link does not seem to be working. All I get is a screen full of what looks like programming.

Dare to Care

This is a link to a Blog about "passionate 21st century education", written by Denise Krebs. On the Blog there are links to other 21st century Blogs and excellent Flickr photos. The author of the Blog provides ratings of books she has read and has a great link to other great resources when it comes to 21st century learning.
Rating: If looking for information on 21st century, this is it. 5.

Beyond the Classroom

This link will take you to a Blog made by an elementary school teacher, Richard Byrne. The Blog is used as a place for educators to share their thoughts. The Blog includes links for parents, links for teachers, and links to other educational Blogs. There is an enormous amount of information on this page. However, it is a little overwhelming.
Rating: 4.5

This blog by Richard Byrne looks like a good source for tech tips to use in the classroom. It is a wealth of information, but due to the volume of posts, I think it could get overwhelming, so my rating is a 4.
